Antique, rare, late Victorian British stained class rectangular, domed skylight, a beautiful piece used as an inside (not external) architectural illumination feature which was never exposed to weather. It was salvaged from a renovated 1890s office building in Glasgow, Scotland in 1998. This lovely item is impressive and in great condition, and could be used over a kitchen island or pool table or as a unique upright lighting feature. There is a highlighting/accent electric strip light inside at the top, and the vividly coloured central flower looks awesome when lit at night. The glass with frame measures approximately 59" Long, 48" wide and 13" deep.
The glass is all tight with only a few cracks in two clear glass non-stained panes. The frame is solid, and the pictures tell the story.
Pick up only.
